Ladies and gentleman, we have a winner!
So about a week ago, we ran a promotion auctioning off the last page of my upcoming book, Appalachian Trials. The highest bidder won the right to input their name on the last page of the book.
With a high bid of $203.50, Ryan Mogan is our winner!
Not only does Ryan Mogan now own the last page of Appalachian Trials, but 100% of his winning bid is going straight to the Appalachian Trail Conservancy (the fine workers and volunteers who maintain the Appalachian Trail).
And not only is Ryan Mogan now the most famous person in the history of last pages, but his altruistic deed factually makes him a good person. That’s a hell of a deal if you ask me.
In all sincerity, a HUGE thank you to Ryan Mogan for your very generous bid. You rock.
(Side note: As of today, February 2, 2012, Appalachian Trials has a cover.)
The below e-mail should say: “thank you Ryan Mogan“.
